AIChile offers short and varied courses lasting from 10 days to 6 weeks, open to all audiences. Study areas: Mining, Geology, Volcanism, Architecture, Astronomy, Literature, Marine Sciences, and Mining Economics. Includes field trips to San Pedro de Atacama, Vicuña, La Serena and Coquimbo.

Follow these 8 steps to have your international experience at UCN.
Your home university must officially nominate you by sending your details to the DRI UCN within the established deadlines.
You will receive an email with instructions to complete your registration on our mobility platform.
DRI UCN will review your documents and coordinate academic approval with the corresponding programme directors.
If accepted, you will receive your official digitalised Acceptance Letter. This document is essential for your visa.
With your acceptance letter, you must begin the process for your Temporary Residence from outside Chile via the SERMIG portal.
Visa InfoYou must take out and send a copy of your international health insurance with full coverage for health, life, and repatriation.
Coordinate your arrival for orientation week. Upon arrival, you must complete your enrolment at the International Office.
The cost of your experience at UCN depends on whether a bilateral agreement exists with your home university.
If your university has a bilateral agreement or belongs to a network (ODUCAL, PAME, etc.), you do not pay tuition or enrolment fees at UCN.
If your university does not have an agreement, you can apply as a free mover by paying the corresponding fees.
Academic load: Minimum 12, Maximum 30 SCT credits (1 SCT = 28 chronological hours).
Depending on the duration of your academic stay, the migration process is different. Identify your case:
Visa Portal - National Migration ServiceFor undergraduate students and academic internships of up to 180 days.
You can enter with your valid passport (and/or national ID, depending on agreements) under the 'Transitory Residence Permit' category for study purposes. This grants you an initial 90 days.
Before your first 90 days expire (at least 1 month before), you must apply for an extension for another 90 days.
Process Extension OnlineYou must process your Temporary Residence Visa from your home country before travelling to Chile.
If you obtain Temporary Residence, you have 30 days from entry to obtain your Chilean identity card.
It is the student's responsibility to keep their migration status up to date.
